Paul Barber Foundation, a family-run private foundation based in the Greater Toronto Area dedicated to improving Canadians' lives by supporting transformational life-changing programs, is accepting applications for its Female Leadership and Empowerment Grant.
About the Program
The Female Leadership and Empowerment Grant aims to support projects from Canadian charities or nonprofits partnered with a registered charity that promotes gender equality for women, girls, and gender-diverse people in professional settings where they are currently underrepresented. Special consideration will be given to programs that address elevating people from marginalized backgrounds, inclusivity, and diversity. Projects eligible for the grant must satisfy one or more objectives.
Help improve gender equality in professions where women are underrepresented, such as STEM, finance, trades, or entrepreneurship
Help young girls learn about and embrace areas of study where females are underrepresented
To facilitate the advancement of women* in leadership positions
Up to $30,000 per year
To be eligible for the grant program,
Organizations must be a registered charity or nonprofit partnered with a registered charity
Organizations’ projects must meet or satisfy grant objectives
